Alan Keyes is batsh!t insane. He said the only reason to have a military is to have it fight fight fight. So, as long as we have a military, we need to have perpetual war. 

 And he apparently is unaware that Sherlock Holmes wasn't a real person. That combined with the fact that he believes the Iraqis were "tolerating" a government that allowed terrorists in make him fit for a straight jacket. They had Saddam, who the terrorists hated and had nothing to do with, and WE deposed him and killed him. How does that make them tolerant of terrorists? No amount of lost Iraqi lives are too much to keep we Americans safe here at home. I will look forward to him explaining THAT to values voters this week.
