Update: Aaron Russo has moved on

Arron woke me up to the truth, and introduced me to Ron Paul.

His work will continue posthumously on and his life was meaningful.

Aaron was one of those rare people who truly gives himself to a cause. His example has made an impact on me and many I know. God Bless and keep Aaron and his loved ones, and his beloved America.

i'm very thankful i got the opportunity to not only meet Aaron, but hang out with him when he visited Asheville, NC just after the 2004 Libertarian Party 2004 Convention. He exhibited a heart of gold in concern for the state of our nation.

Aaron Russo has been one of America's and humanity's best friends, a national treasure for our country. He will be remembered by those who know as a true hero, an inspiration to all of us to make use of whatever brief time remains at our disposal to raise our own awareness on all levels, and by doing so to serve our fellow human beings on this beautiful planet. Let us never forget him during our sojourn and adventures here. Every one of us has the power to become an inspiration to others in our own unique way, giving up ego and using our precious time to spread the spirit of love and compassion for all, as Aaron did so well in his work to awaken humanity so that we could have a chance to survive and make the world a better place to live. Thank you, Aaron, you are so much appreciated, and with us physically or not, you will remain our valued friend forever.

ADDENDUM to previous message:

Let's do something for Aaron. For starters, how about greatly increasing our efforts to help Ron Paul. I think Aaron would have appreciated this. Between us we have so much energy and creativity, let's see what we can do with it and go all out. Of course all efforts to help educate America will be appreciated, but helping Ron Paul win will be one of the best things we can do.

Its true that the good ones die young. He was young at heart and mature in his charater. I did not know the man. But i respect him greatly for sharing the Truth about this government, the IRS and Federal Reserve. Thanks to him, my eyes have been opened and i am spreading the truth to my friends, neighbors, and anyone who will listen. Your work was NOT in vain Aaron and your spirit will live in the hearts of the people across this country. Your a True Patriot of America. I wish you could have hung on till the elections of 2008. I've taken your torch and given it to Ron Paul. That light with expose the truth of the present facist regime and hopefull if this country is mature enough to except the truth, America will return to its former Glory that makes it unique. I pray that your soul will find peace in the arms of the Lord God Jesus Christ.

Aaron Russo epitomize that which is America, and it is sad for all of us that he has been called to the other side. But his work, his legacy, his hopes and dreams must not be forgotten.
Every one of us who was educated, uplifted and inspired by this great man must continue his work.
To right the wrongs and make this nation the great Republic it was meant to be, we must loosen the stranglehold that major media has on the American people. Support independent media, for we are the only hope, and Aaron knew that. He did what he did on his terms, not at the behest and using the bankrolls of the Rockefellers or the Rothschilds.
Let Freedom Ring!

It is up to us to take the battle to the foe. Aaron through his work threw down the gauntlet.

Shall his work be in vain?

Ron Paul *must* be carried forward. The word must continue.

I must say that Aaron's passing is a sad moment during these times. I was awaken to the condition and direction of our nation by this courageous man. I will forever be in debt to him for that. My prayers go out to his wife and family. It has already been stated and I would have to 2nd the motion. Now is the time to get behind Ron Paul. I know in my heart that this is what Aaron would want. The greatest gift we could give to Aaron right now is to do everything we can to get the most honorable Ron Paul elected as the next President of this country.

Aaron Russo was truly a man for all seasons.  I met Aaron at the 2004 Libertarian Party Convention.  Had his handlers/staff not been so pissy, I might have swung my support to him, but we were concerned that he'd b a "loose cannon on deck."  We who supported Michael Badnarik (I'm from Central Texas, and Michael was a friend), and Gary Nolan, were WRONG!  Aaron Russo was EXACTLY and PRECISELY what the LP - and this country - needed.
 This little Jewish man from Brooklyn, born during the war years, was pugnacious, tenacious, and delicious in his wit and wisdom.  His legacy will live on.  Aaron joins all the patriots and liberty-lovers who have passed on (Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, Harry Browne, Karl Hess, etc. etc.) and Heaven just got a terrific Producer!
 Saying "rest in peace" to Aaron Russo is ridiculous - the man never rested in peace, never stopped working, needling, cajoling, and inspiring.  Heaven better watch out!  Aaron Russo's coming!
