Q: Do I have to sign up as a member?
A: No, membership is free but you can view much of rescue-us as an anonymous user. However, if you find what you see here interesting you probably should sign up (see membership benefits.)

Q: What is the benefit of signing up?

A: Although you can browse and comment on blogs without being a registered user, you will have access to additional features and more information as a registered user (see user privliges.)
Q: What is your privacy policy?
A: We occasionally send out email notices regarding new features or urgent news, but it is not more than a couple times a month. We do not share (or sell) your personal information or email address with anyone at all for any reason.

Q: Can you explain User Privliges?
A: Users can have different privliges depending on their desired level of activity.
Anonymous Users - unregistered user can view news, blogs, pages and forums and can post comments on blogs.

Registered Users - has all privliges of anonymous users, can post in forums, join groups and view certain pages or stories reserved for members only.

Bloggers - in addition to the privleges of registered users, bloggers can edit their own blog, and even manage advertisements on the sidebar of their blog to generate revenue for themselves.

Authors - authors are registered users with the special privlege of being able to contribute to collaborative "Free Books".
Group Leaders - can manage groups formed for any legitimate purpose in support of the mission of rescue-US.
Q: Who can start a group?
A: Anyone who has an idea or sees a need and is willing to take on the responsibility of being a group leader can request to be given group leader status and have a new group created. Their create group request will be reviewed by the administrator prior to creation of the group to ensure the group's intended purpose fits within the mission of rescue-US.
