What Greenspan didn't know and when he didn't know it

Ron Paul's confrontations with Alan Greenspan are well documented.
This week, Greenspan was interviewed for an upcoming 60 minutes program. For those of us who have followed the Maestro versus the Doctor, it is rather amusing to hear the Maestro, speaking about the current credit crisis, say "I didn't get it until very late". This from the man who after dropping interest rates to rock bottom levels, encouraged Adjustable Rate Mortgages and suggested that lenders become "more creative". Now with higher rates, resetting ARM's, collapsing mortgage companies and a steadily depreciating dollar, he says "I didn't get it."
