Ideas for helping the Ron Paul Revolution be on-going even after the election

When I read these words at the "about us" section of the website, I felt inspired to share some ideas on how to help this "prophecy" come true. You can check out the description of the Community Gathering, a cross between a family-friendly festival, a town meeting, a family reunion, think tank, a learning center and a strategic planning session. You can learn more about how this works and why I think it will be a way to enhance the people power generated now by the Ron Paul revolution, and how it can continue even after the election: Community Gatherings: helping neighborhoods become free, thriving, self-reliant communities.

I felt encouraged by these words because I have long held this dream for people to self-organize around a worthy cause:

"I told my friend in January of 2007 that this campaign would be an
"open source", decentralized, grassroots insurgency made possible by
leveraging the collaborative power of the net. And the Ron Paul
Campaign is only the beginning!"

And when I read the following, I felt excited that you hold a vision for long term change which I am want to put all my energy into.

 While the Ron Paul
Revolution is in full swing, we will dedicate a large portion of
Rescue-US to all things Ron Paul. As 2008 fades into history however,
come what may, it is my hope that rescue-US will be much more than a
"Ron Paul Blog".

My dream is that there will be a Community GAthering in every neighborhood which encourages this to happen:

"Rather it will be a community of informed citizens who
know what it means to be empowered by free association, free speech and
freedom of the press."

When I read these words, I got really happy, because the whole point of Community Gatherings is to make them so much fun that everyone will look forward to attending weekly, and people are excited about getting involved with supporting Ron Paul as well as community building activities.

(oh yeah ... we know how to have fun too 'cuz if it ain't fun your doin' it wrong.)

I have dedicated my other myspace account mostly to Ron Paul http://www.myspace.com/livablefuture

I am looking for the following:

1. A webmaster who wants to help create a web site which will promote and train Community Gathering Facilitators

2. People to experiment with the Community Gathering idea and give me feedback as to how it works.

3. Questions and comments about the myspace website so I can make it better.

I am going to start a blog right now in order to promote the Community Gathering idea, and I will let you know what it is.

Thanks for all that you are doing!
