Campaign cites cash figures placing Ron Paul among top 3 for GOP nomination

Kent Snyder and Jonathan Bydlak of the Ron Paul 2008 campaign held a press conference today at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. They report on 3rd quarter fundraising number for the Republican candidates, and show there are three candidates well-poised financially for a serious run for the GOP nomination.
The key number Bydlak cited is what he calls "Net Primary Cash on Hand". This is Cash on hand minus debt minus cash earmarked by FEC regulation for use in the General Election only. Bydlak claims this is th etrue measure of what each campaign currently has to spend on the GOP primary campaign.
