Message from Ron

Want to know a secret? There were two moments I especially enjoyed
at the CNN/YouTube debate -- despite my frustration at some of the
questions, and the maldistribution of time.

First, I was pleased at John McCain's attack, which he clearly had
planned. Not because that sort of stream-of-consciousness nonsense
about Hitler and WWII -- when the neocons openly want what they call WW
IV! Are we to forget that the first war crime charged at Nuremberg was
waging aggressive war?

Latest National Rasmussen Poll

Of course the Paul supporters are all out canvasing so they have little time to talk to pollsters but here is the latest nationwide Rasmussen poll of "likely Republican Voters":

Giuliani  20%

Huckabe 17%

Thompson 14%

McCain13%

Romney 11%

Paul 7%

Hunter <2%

Tancredo <2%

Rudy's Reading List Money Bomb Vaults Ron Paul Over $10 Million!

Estimates were that Ron Paul supporters might bring in $500,000 on the last day of November by way of the grass roots organized "money bomb" labled "Rudy's Reading List". Expectations were surpassed as supporters donated $525,000 in 24 hours!

Here is how the day went:

Ron Paul Campaign Tops $9 Million midway through 4th quarter

9mil.jpg

Today, according to RonPaul2008.com, the campaign passed the $9 million mark for the fourth quarter. The campaign had set a goal of $12 million which, at the time, seemed rather ambitious.

With the success of the Nov. 5th money bomb, exponentially increasing interest and the planned  Dec. 16th "Tea Party", it is looking like the $12 million goal will be surpassed.

On herding cats and todays INPROMPTU MONEY BOMB

The campaign shot an email out today encouraging folks who plan on donating to do so sooner rather than later. The December 16th Tea Party is a great idea but...

a) The campaign could put that money to use now while there is still time before new Hampshire and Iowa.

b) The way the dollar is tanking, the damned Federal Reserve Notes will be worth less in 3 weeks than they are today.
